Prediabetes

Our goal is to prevent diabetes through 1-on-1, tailored mentoring based on the validated curriculum of the CDC. The Diabetes Prevention Program cut the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 58%. This was the result of people losing just 5% to 7% of their body weight through healthier eating and 150 minutes of physical activity a week. With support from the NIH, we are offering a culturally-tailored, flexible, peer-enhanced program to help stem the tide of diabetes!
